The Carefree awning pull strap is used to assist in the set up of your awning. Hanging down to a height that is accessible simply pull the strap towards yourself to un-roll your awning once you arrive at your destination. The pull strap is also used to control the awning on roll up and by holding the stap you can prevent the awning rolling itself up of its own accord.
